1. INTRODUCTION
DESTINY BUILDERS & CONSTRUCTION ("we", "our", or "us") provides the Destiny Builders Construction Android application (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it. The App is designed as an offline construction project planning and productivity tool. It allows users to create projects, manage tasks, record expenses, save measurements, keep site notes, and use construction calculators.
The policy is intended to make clear what information stays on your device, what information is voluntarily sent outside the App, and what types of access the current version of the App does not require. The core project workflow is designed to function without requiring an online account or a remote project database.
2. INFORMATION YOU ENTER INTO THE APP
The App may allow you to enter information such as:
- Project names
- Client or owner names
- Job locations entered manually
- Project dates
- Project budgets
- Project notes
- Tasks and task details
- Expense and cost information
- Measurements
- Site notes
- Calculator inputs
This information is entered voluntarily by the user and is used only to provide the App's local project management and calculation features. The information can be used to organize construction work, review project details, track costs, document measurements, record notes, and perform calculations inside the App.
Because these entries are created by the user for their own projects, users should avoid entering information they do not want stored on their device. The App does not require users to submit this project information to us in order to use the core project-management features.
3. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
User-created project data is stored locally on your device.
The App does not require account registration and does not use a remote project database or cloud account system for its core functionality.
We do not receive or remotely store the project, task, expense, measurement, or site-note information you create in the App. The local-storage design means that project information is intended to remain available on the device where it was entered unless the user deletes it, clears the App data, or removes the App.
Users are responsible for the device on which local information is stored and for deciding whether they want to maintain their own backups. Normal Android device or backup behavior may affect how local application data is retained after deletion or uninstallation.
5. PERMISSIONS
The App is designed not to require dangerous Android permissions for its core features.
The current version does not require access to:
- Camera
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts
- Microphone
- Photos or media
- External storage
- SMS
- Phone
- Bluetooth
- Nearby devices
- Calendar
- Notifications
Job locations, if used, are entered manually by the user. The App does not obtain a device location automatically for this purpose, and the current version does not require location permission.
6. CONTACT SUPPORT
The App includes a Contact Us feature that may open your device's installed email application using a standard mailto action.
The App does not read your email inbox, contacts, or email account information.
If you choose to send us an email, the information contained in that email is sent by you through your chosen email provider and will be handled according to the content of your support request. Your email provider may process the message according to its own privacy practices, terms, and security procedures.
You should include only the information necessary for your support request. The App itself does not automatically copy your project database into an email or upload your local project records to our servers.
7. DATA RETENTION
Project data created in the App remains stored locally on your device until you:
- Delete individual records in the App;
- Use the App's Delete All Local Data option;
- Clear the App's data through Android system settings; or
- Uninstall the App, subject to normal Android backup or device behavior.
Support emails sent voluntarily to us may be retained only as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Retention of a support email is different from local project storage inside the App: a support message you voluntarily send can be available to us because you chose to transmit it.
8. DATA DELETION
You can delete locally stored App data from within the App using the available data deletion controls.
You may also clear the App's data through Android system settings or uninstall the App. These actions remove locally stored application data according to normal Android behavior and the device configuration.
If you have voluntarily sent information to us by email, deleting the App from your device does not automatically delete that email from our support records. Email-related deletion questions can be directed to the contact address in this policy.
Because the App does not require a user account, there is no separate account-deletion process for the current version.
For questions about information you voluntarily send to us by email, contact:
9. SECURITY
We design the App so that its core project data remains on the user's device.
However, no device, storage system, or method of electronic processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on their own devices, including device locks, operating system updates, and secure backups where applicable.
For the current offline design, protecting access to the physical device is an important part of protecting locally stored project information. Users should use the security controls provided by their operating system and should take care when sharing or transferring device data.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The current version of the App does not use third-party advertising, analytics, remote project storage, or authentication services for its core functionality.
If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant data practices.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is a general construction productivity tool and is not designed or directed specifically to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a server-based account or tracking system in the current version.
12. CONSTRUCTION AND CALCULATION DATA
Measurements, budgets, expenses, and calculator values entered into the App are processed to provide planning and estimation features.
Calculator results are planning aids only. They are not professional engineering, architectural, inspection, or building-code certifications. Results should be reviewed and independently verified when they are used for real construction decisions, estimates, purchasing, structural work, safety decisions, or compliance requirements.
Users remain responsible for confirming measurements, quantities, costs, assumptions, and applicable local requirements before relying on calculator results for a project.
13. INTERNATIONAL USERS
The App may be used in different locations. User-created project data is stored locally on the user's device rather than being transferred to our servers as part of the App's core project workflow.
Because local storage is used, the App does not establish a separate international project-data hosting location for the core workflow. Any information that a user voluntarily sends to us, such as a support email, is handled through the communication method the user chooses.
14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, legal requirements, or data practices change.
When changes are made, the updated version should be made available within the App and on the public Privacy Policy page used for the Google Play listing. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the version currently described by this policy.
Users should review the policy periodically, particularly after an App update that introduces new features, permissions, online services, analytics, advertising, authentication, or other changes that could affect how information is handled.
